Nhi comes from an incredibly difficult background, one marked by deep emotional neglect from her parents and financial hardship that made it impossible for her to continue her education like her peers. With no clear path forward, she felt lost, bound by the fate that life had seemingly dictated for her.

As she faced the heartbreaking reality of having to abandon her dreams, her world felt like it was collapsing around her. But just when all hope seemed lost, fate led her to GIBTK—a place that would change her life forever.

When Nhi first arrived at Lighthouse (a Home for girls over 18 years old), she was painfully shy and afraid to speak up, convinced her voice didn’t matter. But surrounded by mentors, facilitators, and a supportive community, she gradually found confidence. She realized her voice had value, her ideas mattered, and she was far stronger than she had ever believed.

Today, Nhi is no longer the timid girl she once was. She has transformed into a confident leader—not just participating, but taking the lead. She stepped up as a team leader, embracing responsibility with grace and determination. But what truly sets her apart is her heart for others. Instead of seeking the spotlight for herself, she empowers her teammates, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to grow. She is now a talented IT student, promising a bright future ahead.
