Honored to be part of GIBTK family!
Today's journal is about Kim Trang who was a former member from Carmela's home from the beginning. She graduated from college and started her own life.

Trang, a lovely girl, began her adventure with GIBTK at Carmela's Home when she was 11 years old. Trang moved to Lighthouse after graduating from high school to further her education. Ten years have passed, and she is now a young and mature lady. Trang recently graduated from college in October 2022. She currently works part-time in marketing and promotion at the LIXCO washing Powder Company in Vietnam.

Trang wrote this before leaving Lighthouse:
"Today, I'd like to write this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude to the donors and the GIBTK team for always being there for me and giving me all of the possibilities to study and conquer the life obstacles I've been facing since 2012. I originally gained access to Carmela's Home over ten years ago. I am ecstatic and honored to be a part of GIBTK's Home. I'm at a loss for words to thank everyone at GIBTK for always being willing to provide a helping hand whenever I needed it. I became who I am now because of your guidance, advice, and unwavering support as your younger siblings. These are crucial motivators for me to study hard and acquire a good job that is related to the major I picked and studied earlier.

To be honest, no one wants to leave the home where we have lived for ten years, where every pleasure and sadness has been shared and every obstacle has been dealt with positively. However, the time has come for me to leave GIBTK's loving arms in order to live independently and have stable employment.

During my stay in GIBTK's homes, I discovered how much you love and care for me. Despite the fact that I have endured a great loss since I was a youngster, life has given me lovely people like you. Your love inspires me and gives me hope for the future. I am extremely appreciative for the lessons from Ms. Ngoc and Ms. Thuong, the Life Skills, and Emotional Health instructors. They supplied me with the necessary skills to employ in my future profession. I am grateful and hope GIBTK continues expanding and flourishing in order to transform more impoverished kids like me."
