I Found Hope in the Hardest Times - Vinh's Story

My name is Vinh, I grew up in Central Vietnam without my father by my side since I was just 14 months old. My mother, my little brother, and I took refuge at my grandmother’s home. Life was hard, my mother worked tirelessly as a farmer to support us, but even extra basic school expenses were a heavy burden.

My family

Thanks to the support from GIBTK, I’ve been able to attend Dorothea's Project Legacy 2, where I study for free and continue to grow both academically and personally. I’m so grateful for the teachers who have stood by us and for GIBTK, who created this safe and empowering space, not only for me and my brother, but for so many others. This place gave me more than an education, it gave me hope for a brighter future.
