Smiles of joy and promise of full lives

Please enjoy photos of kids who had life saving heart surgeries'

    Usually I begin my year-end letter saying my hope and prayers are that this letter finds you Good. This past year of 2020 has challenged all of us in so many ways. These days may I say I hope and pray this letter finds you and all that's yours "ok."  Perhaps I can say "ok" is the new normal?

   I and my family have honestly done well. I personally have been a bit stir-crazy due to inability to travel. Cambodia has done "ok" with Covid. Vietnam has been closed due to Covid for all travelers, and has had 2 shutdowns. Central Vietnam has endured 5 typhons in a 7 week period!

    Yet thanks to a phenomenal team on the ground and the generosity of so many of you, Giving it Back to Kids has continued to flourish. Our programs have continued. Our kids homes in both countries remain strong. Even through Covid school shutdowns

  Many of our programs did have slow downs but seems as though things have returned to stronger pace. Heart and Orthopedic surgeries are on pace again.

  The Father's House, our unwed mothers home has thrived as well. a bit of really exciting news is that just recently we were able to open Dorothea's Project Legacy 3!!!  Covid did slow us down in remodel and opening but it did not stop us!

  I do pray and hope all of you are doing at least "ok" in these extraordinary times. The challenges do not knock you down but rather build you up.

  I know this time of year your bombarded by requests for donations. may I ask that if there is room in your year-end giving that GIBTK may be considered.

Sincerely;
