Quynh Nhu and Quynh Nhi are fourteen-year-old twin sisters, whose childhood was marked by the pain of a broken family. Their parents divorced when they were very small, and their mother left them, later being imprisoned for drug trafficking.
Nhu and Nhi are twin sisters from a difficult background.
Their father, without a stable job, was unable to provide the care and love that every child deserves. Until the age of eight, they had never stepped into a classroom, never experienced the simple joy of going to school.
The pain they have endured is clearly reflected on their faces
But fate smiled upon them when they were welcomed into Mary's Home, a place that would completely transform their lives. When they first arrived, they faced many challenges due to past traumas that made it difficult for them to open up to others. They had once struggled with ADHD, which led to frequent issues with learning and adapting to new environments.
Fate changed when GIBTK brought them to Mary’s Home to grow
Yet, with the love and care they received at Mary's Home, after six years, Nhu and Nhi have blossomed into strong, kind, and mature young girls. Their academic performance has been excellent. In addition, they have discovered and nurtured their individual talents. Quynh Nhi is good at drawing and regularly participates in school drawing competitions. Quynh Nh?, on the other hand, excels at basketball; she's part of her school's basketball team and recently won second place at a district tournament.
Now, these two girls are thriving and excelling in their studies
Beyond academics, they have also gained invaluable life skills and moral lessons that have shaped them into the wonderful girls they are today. Their bright smiles, their happiness, and the deep gratitude they carry in their hearts are a testament to the love, care, and attention they have received.
Jen and Lauren partnered with GIBTK as the main sponsors of this wonderful home,
?Mary’s Home
From a childhood filled with darkness and uncertainty, Quynh Nhu and Quynh Nhi have found the light, and now, they are stepping into the future with hope, confidence, and a heart full of dreams."
