The Power of Compassion

The Power of Compassion

Linh's New Life

Linh was born in 2002. She had a heart disease, and her family faced economic difficulties because they were farmers. The total income of the family was about 250 USD per year, and they had to struggle with a lack of food and money for many things.

She suffered from painful symptoms of the disease, like shortness of breath and constant fatigue. She played less and less and spent most of her time staying at home. She felt self-conscious about her condition and told her parents that she wanted to be healthy like her friends. Her parents felt immense pity for their beloved child, and all they could do was work tirelessly to earn money for her treatment, but they could never earn enough.

Linh, with innocent eyes, looked forward to a glimmer of hope

However, hope took the form of donors whose compassion and generosity reached across oceans to sponsor Linh's surgery. That heart surgery completely changed her life. Since 2009, she has had an incredibly wonderful life.

Kieu Linh stands on the precipice of realizing her dreams. She just freshed out of collague of law at the University of Economy in Ho Chi Minh City, fueled by the determination to become an entrepreneur lawyer. Currently, she is gaining valuable experience through her internship, preparing to step into the world as a legal professional.

The girl from those days has now become a strong and capable young woman

Every step she takes in her journey is a testament to the gift of life she received from The donors. With a heart full of gratitude, Kieu Linh is determined to pay their kindness forward, using her legal expertise to make a meaningful impact on the world and its many challenges.
