From Fear to Joy

Trang was diagnosed with heart disease when she was a little four-year-old girl. At that time, feelings of fear and anxiety permeated through her whole family. Not only were they worried about losing Trang, but the atmosphere of the family became even worse because of the financial burden that medical issues would bring.?

At that time, her parents were both farmers, and their earnings were just around $16 per month, which the family used to cover all their expenses. Trang's family had to share a home with her grandparents as they couldn’t afford their own.

Luckily, Trang received timely help for her lifesaving heart surgery from donors in July 2010. This surgery saved Trang’s life and filled her family’s life with hope and joy again. Thanks to the help of the kind donors, their little girl was saved and has a chance to live as other children do. Trang is healthy now, which makes her parents very pleased.
