Overcoming Adversity - Quang's Path to Prosperity

Tran Nhat Quang was raised in the province of Quang Nam in a very impoverished home with two children. When Quang was a young lad, the war caused his father to lose an arm, making him unable to work long hours to support himself due to his health. To make a living, Quang's mother sold lottery tickets.

Quang and his father faced extremely difficult circumstances together

After passing the University of Technology's software major exam, Quang was faced with the possibility of leaving school.

He thrived at Hal's Home, thanks to GIBTK

In August 2019, he was admitted to stay at Hal’s home, where he got the chance for education, nutrition, medical care, and love from other members. Life in Hal’s home has helped him grow up day by day and improve continuously. He graduated from the University of Technology and Education on September 23, 2023, majoring in Information Technology.

Currently, he has completed his internship and has been accepted as an official employee at Vnext Software Company as a data processing staff member with a high salary. He wants to be a team leader of projects in the next three years. He will work toward these goals and constantly maintain the positive attitude necessary to be steadfast on this path.

Quang graduated in 2023 and became a true IT professional

Quang said with pride and gratitude, “A miracle happened, and my story ended happily. I am acknowledged, welcomed, and shined upon at GIBTK, an environment where dreams and hopes are sown for unfortunate lives. Giving It Back To Kids' unconditional love transformed my life and gave me an intention to live.”

As of now, GIBTK has sponsored full scholarships for 370 students to fulfill their dreams. If you want to transform more lives like Quang's, please contact us.

Now, the former lottery ticket seller is a successful IT professional, supporting his family
