Blessings and Gratitude - Thuat's Story

Ho Nhu Thuat was born in 2003. Unfortunately, he was born with a heart condition. However, both of his parents are farmers, and their income from crops is very small compared to the cost of the surgery. This was an enormous expense for a poor family like theirs. 

The miraculous surgery gave Thuat a new life

But a ray of hope shone within them. Thanks to a brilliant and successful surgery funded by the donors in October 2006, Thuat is now in good health. He has no fever, nor a cold or cough. His last checkup was several years ago, and the doctor said his health was all fine.

?He is 21 years old now. Thuat is a gentle and kind man who is very mature when talking with us. He would like to have a stable and healthy life and a job to take care of his family.

Thuat graduated from university in December 2023, but he found his interest in online sales, so he is working as an online salesperson. Currently, he is renting a room in Da Nang City for his job and visits his family every weekend.

Thuat – a much stronger version 18 years after the surgery

For the past 18 years, Thuat and his family have felt blessed to have been cared for by the donors in October 2006, when they funded Thuat’s heart surgery. His family would like to send their most sincere thanks to the donors and GIBTK for their generous support.

Today, 1,862 lives have been saved thanks to life-saving heart surgery performed by us, and hundreds more are in need of such assistance.
