Fast forward sixteen years, and Huyen's heart is now a symbol of resilience. No longer reliant on medication, she has blossomed into a pretty and energetic young woman.

In September 2023, Huyen celebrated another milestone as she proudly graduated from high school. Her path led her to FPT College in Ho Chi Minh City, where she enthusiastically pursued a major in cosmetology. Having completed six months of the 18-month cosmetology course, Huyen eagerly looked ahead to the future. 

Huyen is now healthy and has a bright future ahead

With deep gratitude, Huyen couldn't help but express her appreciation for the organization that had played a crucial part in her life. Huyen's story is a testament to the transformative power of kindness, resilience, and the profound impact organizations like GIBTK could have on the lives of those in need.

Today, 1,862 lives have been saved thanks to life-saving heart surgery performed by us, and hundreds more are in need of such assistance.
