GIBTK's Work Through Johanna’s Eyes

This marks my first-ever mission trip, and I must admit, landing in Cambodia had me feeling a bit uncertain about what to expect. However, witnessing the incredible work being done by GIBTK left me utterly impressed.

Heartfelt meeting with the boys for the first time

As I interacted with the girls and boys, I couldn't help but be moved by the love they exuded and the dreams they shared with us. It's heartwarming to know that these young kids not only have a shot at a better life but also carry the teachings of Jesus in their hearts. One particular moment that touched me deeply was when an 11-year-old boy reached out and held my hand with the most radiant smile on his face.

Learning about the challenging backgrounds these kids come from, and seeing the efforts made to provide them with education and spiritual guidance, has truly opened my eyes to the realities faced by many.

?My experience here has instilled in me a newfound appreciation for the tireless work of organizations like GIBTK, which strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
