Mended Hearts, Brighter Futures

Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen is now very healthy, thanks to the surgery funded by the donors in March of 2010, which fixed her ventricular septal defect. Huyen is now 19 years old and no longer feels tired due to her heart symptoms.

After three check-ups following her surgery, the doctor confirmed she was healthy and no longer needed to take medicine for her heart. This news greatly encouraged her family.

Huyen is a remarkably independent girl. She works as a sofa product packer to earn a living. It only takes her 10 minutes to commute to work each day. She is happy with her work and her life. Currently, she is dating her boyfriend, and they both work hard to build a better future.

Despite Huyen's family still being very poor, the atmosphere in their house has completely changed since Huyen's recovery. Seeing Huyen grow up healthy and knowing she can now enjoy her life like other children makes her family feel very special and happy. Huyen’s family would like to express their deep gratitude for the kind help they received, and they wish for you to always be healthy, happy, and successful.
