From Heart Defect to Heart Warming

Toan's life began with a challenge that seemed insurmountable. Born in 1991 in Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province, Vietnam, he came into the world with a Ventricular Septal Defect, a condition that strained both his fragile heart and his family's finances. As the youngest of three children, the burden of his life-saving surgery loomed large.

However, a glimmer of hope appeared in the form of the donors who generously sponsored Toan's surgery. Their act of kindness not only mended his heart but also ignited a fire of gratitude within him.

A brand new version - completely healthy, from Toan

Today, Toan is a thriving graphic designer, creating art and beauty from his own experiences. In 2022, he married a young lady who works at Ba Na Hills, a renowned tourism spot in Da Nang. Their love blossomed, and they welcomed a precious 5-month-old daughter into their lives.

Toan's heart, once frail, now beats with strength and thankfulness. Every day, he looks at his family and knows that it's the generosity of the donors that made it all possible. With unwavering gratitude, he is determined to create a bright future for his family and honor the kindness that gave him a second chance at life.
