Tears of Liberation

Tears of Liberation

Today's journal is from our President, Robert Kalatschan

?

We began at our girl’s homes. Many from high risk and yes even trafficked. Both boys, and girls were there as will as house moms. It has been on my heart to share about release through forgiveness.

Share many thoughts and concepts. One was often we don’t how much hurt we store in our hearts. We bury them, ignore them… Martin Luthor  once said “you can’t hold another man down unless you stay down with him Or as Dr. Cole often showed by holding something against someone your stuck to it. By letting go, releasing it falls away. As I shared so many had tears.

Although Rain had derailed an exercise I had planned for closing. The next day we began again with some quite reflection. I shared that many us may have had some memories feeling of hurt, disappointment, abandonment, sexual, mental, emotional abuse the too often thing is crumple it up and bury it back in our hearts.

Suggested let’s bring it back up. Tears and floods of emotion overtook the room, sisters gathered around each other praying over, holding and loving one another.

Our next step was a visual of letting go. We handed out helium balloons to all. Asked them to write the names / names of those who had hurt them, ones they want to take first step in forgiving. Some wrote novels. Forgive I do not make light of this. So much hurt…

Once outside we released them, many of our kids held their arms high releasing. Many still crying asking for unconditional father’s hugs, They just held on. Yup tears are back…. RELEASE!!!!

You will be hearing more about our homes in Cambodia. If your one who prays please pray for wisdom, guidance. If led to write though our friendship program (no cost) or possibly sponsor a boy or girl or even help with a donation to one of the homes in Cambodia, contact me.

Stay tuned and a HUGE THANK YOU for BEING GIBTK!!!

?Our annual Gala, “Journey of Hope” is scheduled for Nov. 4th. If you can help gather items for live or silent auction would be greatly appreciated! We have packets you can hand out with the ask.
