Binh's Journey of Triumph

Binh's Journey of Triumph

I come from a large family of six: my parents, siblings, and me. They are farmers struggling to make ends meet. As my dad grows older, his health deteriorates, with an injured eye and a back tumor. Despite his health issues, he continues to work tirelessly to support us. My mother also works tirelessly, taking on various roles to support my dad and cover our school fees.

I had the opportunity to take part in Dorothea's Project Legacy 2, organized by Giving It Back To Kids, since April 2019. The teachers here were so dedicated that I not only achieved good academic results in high school but also gained admission to Hue University of Economics, majoring in accounting. I dreamt of becoming an accountant as I grew up because I am fascinated by working with numbers.

I really wanted to change my life, so I tried my best to study and nurture my dream. Although I passed the university entrance exam, my parents cannot afford my expensive tuition fees.

"University" was a luxury word I never dared to think of, but it was like a seed that had been planted in my mind to continue my learning journey by the teachers here. There were difficulties and challenges waiting for me, and at times, it seemed impossible to persevere in completing this university journey.

However, I am very fortunate and happy that during my three and a half years at the university, I was taken care of and supported by GIBTK. They sponsored me with all of my tuition fees. For me, this was not only a source of material encouragement but also a great spiritual consolation that helped me overcome all the difficulties in life.

This gift is noble; it is like a warm fire, providing heat and lighting up my faith, giving me the wings to find more strength and perseverance to complete the university program.

I graduated half a year early! What's even more amazing is that I found my dream job as an accountant at Daiwa Vietnam Company, with 100% Japanese investment.

This miracle could not have happened without the support of Giving It Back To Kids. To be honest, I am very lucky. I have been able to grow and completely transform my life to live the dream life I have today.

Thank you!

"We highly appreciate you and thank you for transforming lives"
