Although the circumstance was very difficult, my parents always tried their best to raise us to become educated people. Therefore, my siblings and I were grateful for our parents’ sacrifice and always told each other that we should try to study hard to not disappoint our parents. From that point on, I became more aware of how important education is, especially for children in difficult circumstances like my siblings. During my school years, I mainly self-studied at home to save for my parents. In my mind, I dreamed of becoming a teacher to teach disadvantaged children in remote areas, islands, and so on.
