Hoang Thi Hong Hue

My name is Hoang Thi Hong Hue. I was born and grew up in Que Son district, Quang Nam province. I come from a family of four people: my parents, my older brother, and me. Both of our parents work as farmers, so our childhood was closely related to the paddy fields. My parents worked hard all year round so that we could get a good education in the hope that we wouldn't have to labor as hard as in fields as they do. Understanding the hardships that they were facing, I always tried my best and was determined to study so as not to disappoint my parents' wishes. Thanks to my efforts, I graduated from Da Nang University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology, majoring in public health. Without the care and love from my parents, I couldn’t have a better life today. Therefore, I feel proud and fortunate to be born into a family that is full of love.
I am very happy that I have become a member of GIBTK staff. I am a nurse at Dorothea’s Project Legacies for Pregnant Women in Que Son district, Quang Nam province. While working for GIBTK in my hometown, I not only learned more about my work, but I was exposed to many difficult circumstances. This has allowed me to develop myself more and also learn from and interact with many of my excellent colleagues.
Thank you GIBTK for giving me a chance to contribute to the mission of transforming lives through medical care, health, education, nutrition, and love.
