Le Minh Vuong

My full name is Le Minh Vuong. I was born in 1993 in a poor village in Quang Nam province. Now I am a math teacher at Giving It Back To Kids. My family consists of eight people: my parents, three sisters, two brothers, and me. Because my parents are farmers, our childhood was filled with rice, rivers, and paddy fields. Because my parents could not afford for all of us to attend school due to our disadvantaged circumstances, my two sisters had to drop out of school for the rest of us to be able to study.
Understanding all that sacrifice, I always tried my best to study hard. I always wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid. I came to Ho Chi Minh City after graduation and taught at a high school for nearly seven years. I learned about Giving it Back to Kids by coincidence from my sister. I was impressed with what GIBTK does to help poor children, therefore I decided to apply for the position of a math teacher. Fortunately, I passed the interview and joined the big team of GIBTKs. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to study and dedicate myself to help others and I want to give the best to my beloved students.
Once again, I would like to say thank you to the Giving Back to Kids Organization for creating opportunities for me to pursue my teaching passion. It is also my desire and duty to aim higher. And the best part is that I can share and feel the joy and happiness of the children. The innocence of the children gives me the courage to keep going on the path I have chosen.
