Pham Thi Huyen

My full name is Pham Thi Huyen. I was born in 1997 in Quang Binh province. There are six members in my family. My father passed away when I was 13 years old, which left a burden on my mother’s shoulders. As a fishmonger, she had to work very hard to earn a living, to have enough money to raise her five children and send them to school. Thanks to her efforts, our family finances become more stable. My brother is now studying and working in Korea.
I also have three sisters, all of whom already were married and have their own homes. I am always proud of my mother because of what she has done for us. She is the best motivation that always reminds me to change myself and better my future life.
came to know GIBTK’s organization through a teacher at my university. I felt so lucky to know and have a chance to work here. During that time, I learned a lot of new things and grew my experience in different areas. I also met a lot of disadvantaged people whose stories and efforts motivated me a lot. Thanks to GIBTK’s love and timely support, they have had more opportunities and motivation to keep trying, working and following their dreams. This is a factor that made me want to become an official staff and continue to work here.
