Dang Nhu Ngoc

My name is Dang Nhu Ngoc and I was born in 1998. I come from Hue City, which is the ancient capital of Viet Nam. I am the second child in a family of six members, including my parents, one older sister, two younger brothers and me. Both my parents work as a farmers and they also do other jobs to make a living. Although we are not people who have a lot of advantages in this life, we still have to work really hard so that my younger brother can go to university. I feel lucky because of what I have in life and what has shaped who I am today.
I realized that I love passing what I have learned on to other people.
I’m currently an English teacher at the GIBTK organization and I love teaching here so much. In the first place, I’m honestly not sure about whether I am kind or good enough to be a true teacher. As growing up, I can see that I myself have a lot of struggles and changes that need understanding from the beloved people such as family and teachers. I believe that children are the future and they are also the people who are easily affected by their surroundings in the process of growing up. But, then I had done my internship in a non-governmental organization in a role of teaching and tutoring jobs before graduating from university. I realized that I love passing what I have learned on to other people. I enjoy talking to students because of their energetic attitude and positive thinking in life.
Thanks to the GIBTK organization, I not only have the opportunity to pursue my dream to become a good teacher for my students, but also I can experience many meaningful work from our organization.
