Dang Hong Chinh
I am Hong Chinh and I was born in 1994 in a peaceful village located in the central part of Vietnam.
My family is quite big with seven members and I am quite proud to be the first-born. In spite of our plight,each of us always tried our best to study because we all know that education is the golden key which could open the door of knowledge and happiness.
I was so moved and gradually realized what my dream was. It is helping people.
I started to work as a volunteer for Giving It Back To Kids in the autumn of 2014. My job at that time involved in translation and doing the follow-ups for heart patients who received support from the organization and other donors. Doing these things did give me a deep insight on what “charity” really meant. Giving It Back To Kids greatly changed the patients’lives and brought the lights to their miserableness. Every patients I called at that time said that they were so grateful for the organization’s support and their lives were much better. I was so moved and gradually realized what my dream was. It is helping people.
After graduating from college, I had a chance to be an English teacher for an English center in Danang city but after a few months there, I decided to quit because I knew that it was not the world that I belong to. My dream is helping people and bring education to less-fortune children and I believe that Giving It Back To Kids can help me achieve that dream. I could say that I now have my own golden key and from now on what I have to do is give that key to my students.
